This four-day state championship offers five rated sections spanning from U1200 to open play, so players at nearly any level can find competitive matches with their peers. If a full weekend commitment doesn't work for you, there's a two-day option covering the first three rounds with faster time controls. Entry fees are quite reasonable at $98–$130 (free for titled players), and the top finishers in each section will compete for a $600–$200 prize fund.
