This Illinois state championship offers something for nearly every competitive player, with eight separate sections ranging from Master/Expert down to U800, plus the option for Class A–E players to challenge up one level for just $20 extra. The one-day, 4-round Swiss format with either 60-minute or 45-minute games keeps the event manageable while providing serious competition, and entry fees are reasonable at $40–$70 depending on your section.
