Is This Tournament a Good Fit?
This weekend tournament welcomes players of all levels, with separate sections for Reserve players (under 1801) and Amateurs (under 1301) alongside the Open division, and offers free entry for OTB titled masters. The classical time control of 90 minutes per side gives you room to think deeply across five rounds, making it ideal if you prefer unhurried, quality chess. With a modest entry fee of $55–$65, it's an accessible option for players looking to compete without a major financial commitment.
