Is This Tournament a Good Fit?
This weekend championship is ideal for women players of all levels seeking competitive play with meaningful prizes: the top finisher earns $800 plus the Texas State Women's Champion title and a spot in the Superfinals, while category plaques recognize top performers in senior, collegiate, and rating-based divisions. The two-day, seven-round Swiss format with G/40+10 time control offers serious competition without an overwhelming time commitment, and titled players compete free while others enjoy a modest $45–$90 entry fee.
