Is This Tournament a Good Fit?
This four-round Swiss tournament offers sections for players of all levels, from beginners (U400) through open play, making it accessible whether you're just starting out or highly experienced. With a G/45+3 time control, you'll have time to think through your moves without the pressure of blitz chess, and the moderate entry fee of $35–$45 keeps the barrier to entry low. It's a single-day event held at a scenic state park location, perfect if you want competitive chess without a major time commitment.
