Is This Tournament a Good Fit?
This rapid tournament is perfect if you're looking for a quick, affordable way to play competitive chess in Boston—entry is free for titled players and unrated participants, with a modest fee for others. The six-round Swiss format gives you multiple games without the time commitment of a lengthy event, and the G/10+5 pace keeps things brisk while still allowing some tactical depth. Whether you're a titled player or new to organized chess, the free entry for unrated players makes this an especially welcoming way to get started.
