Is This Tournament a Good Fit?
Perfect for younger players new to competitive chess, this scholastic event offers separate sections for unrated players and those rated under 1200, so you'll face opponents at your level. With four rounds of blitz chess (25 minutes plus 5-second increment), you can complete the entire tournament in a single afternoon. The entry fee is refreshingly affordable at under $30, making it an accessible way to get tournament experience.
