Is This Tournament a Good Fit?
This three-round Swiss is open to adult players of all ratings up to 2300, making it accessible whether you're just starting to play rated chess or you're an experienced competitor. With a G/45 time control, you'll have enough time for thoughtful play without a grueling all-day commitment, and the modest $20–$40 entry fee keeps it affordable. The prize fund ($100–50–25) goes only to decisive games, so come prepared to play for a win rather than negotiate draws.
