Whether you're a serious competitor or working toward expert-level play, this event offers something for you: the Championship section welcomes strong players, while the U1800 and U1400 sections are perfect for improving players at those rating thresholds. With classical time controls (90 minutes plus 30-second increments), you'll have room to think through your positions across five rounds, and you can choose either a compressed 2-day or more relaxed 3-day schedule depending on what fits your summer. Entry fees are very reasonable, especially if you're a FIDE Master or stronger—you get in free if you register before the late-fee deadline.
