Is This Tournament a Good Fit?
This three-day Swiss tournament offers something for most competitive players, with sections ranging from U1300 through Open, so you can find opponents near your skill level. The time control starts with a faster first round but shifts to classical G/90+30 for the remaining rounds, giving you a good mix of pace. With a reasonable entry fee and seven rounds of play, it's a solid choice if you're looking for a substantial weekend tournament during the Thanksgiving holiday.
