Is This Tournament a Good Fit?
This single-day Swiss tournament offers something for everyone, with separate sections for players rated 1600+, under 1600, and under 1000, plus a flexible rating policy that lets players compete up if they're close to a cutoff. The G/45+5 time control provides a nice balance between thoughtful play and a brisk pace, and the $40–$50 entry fee is very reasonable. If you're a National Master or higher, you'll play completely free.
