Is This Tournament a Good Fit?
This is an ideal event for school-age chess players from kindergarten through high school, with separate sections organized by grade level to ensure fair competition. The five-round Swiss format keeps the tournament to a single day while allowing the classical G/40 time control for thoughtful play. Beyond trophies for top finishers in each section, all participants earn recognition—ribbons, medals, or participation items—making it a welcoming event whether you're competing for prizes or celebrating your chess growth.
