Is This Tournament a Good Fit?
Perfect for scholastic players in elementary through high school, this four-round Swiss tournament offers separate sections for younger kids (K–5th grade), older students (6th–12th grade), and unrated beginners. With a rapid time control of 30 minutes per side, you'll move through your games at a brisk pace without the lengthy time commitment of a classical event. The entry fee of $160–$200 is standard for a quality scholastic tournament of this size.
