Is This Tournament a Good Fit?
This weekly Swiss event at the historic Marshall Chess Club offers classical time control (G/90+30) perfect for players who prefer thoughtful, unhurried chess, and the modest $50 entry fee makes it an accessible option for regular participation. Running over several weeks with six rounds total, it's ideal for players seeking consistent Monday-night competition without the intensity of a single-day tournament. GMs play free, making it an especially attractive option for titled players looking to stay sharp.
